2026 Judge Myles A. Paige Scholarship

Judge Myles A. Paige, a former General President of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated and a charter member of Gamma Iota Lambda, was the first African American to be appointed to a New York City Criminal Court. Judge Paige had a decorated legal, civil rights, and philanthropic career.

The Myles A. Paige Scholarship was established to provide financial support to graduating high school seniors as they matriculate into college.

Scholarship Requirements
  • 1Applicants must be a 2026 graduating male high school senior
  • 1Applicants must reside or attend school in the borough of Brooklyn
  • 2Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above on a 4.0 scale or equivalent
  • 3Applicants must provide a copy of high school transcript
  • 4Applicants must be enrolling as a full-time student in an accredited college or university for the 2026–2027 school year
  • 5Applicants must complete a 500-word essay
Essay Topic

"How has technology and social media influenced your generation’s access to opportunity? How do you plan to use these tools to your advantage? What are your ethical boundaries with AI?"
