2025 Judge Myles A. Paige Scholarship
Judge Myles A. Paige, a former General President of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated and a charter member of Gamma lota Lambda, was the first African American to be appointed to a New York City Criminal Court. Judge Paige had a decorated legal, civil rights, and philanthropic career.
The Myles A. Paige scholarship was established to provide financial support to graduating high school seniors as they matriculate into college.
Scholarship Requirements:
Applicants must be a 2025 graduating male high school senior
Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above on a 4.0 scale or equivalent
Applicants must provide a copy of high school transcript
Applicants must be enrolling as a full-time student in an accredited college or university for the 2025-2026 school year
Applicants must complete a 500-word essay
Essay Topic:
Black male college enrollment is on the decline. What do you think contributes to this plunge and, despite those factors, why is college still an important investment for you? (500 word minimum)
